July 2026 is one of the best months of the year for things to do in Minneapolis. The 4th of July weekend kicks off with Taste of Minnesota on Nicollet Mall, Red, White and Boom on the riverfront, and Bob Dylan at Mystic Lake on the 6th. Concerts run all month: Megan Moroney at Target Center, Avenged Sevenfold at Mystic Lake, Olivia Dean at Target Center on the 29th, and plenty more in between. The back half of July is where things really heat up, and the final weekend is legitimately one of the best weekends of Minneapolis summer 2026. On the 25th alone, you are choosing between Megan Moroney at Target Center and Hilary Duff at Mystic Lake at the exact same time, Canterbury Park has Hall of Fame Weekend live racing, Carifest brings a full day of Caribbean culture and music to the North Minneapolis riverfront, and the Loring Park Art Festival kicks off.
