The back half of July is where things really heat up, and the final weekend is legitimately one of the best weekends of Minneapolis summer 2026. On the 25th alone, you are choosing between Megan Moroney at Target Center and Hilary Duff at Mystic Lake at the exact same time, Canterbury Park has Hall of Fame Weekend live racing, Carifest brings a full day of Caribbean culture and music to the North Minneapolis riverfront, and the Loring Park Art Festival kicks off. The next day, the Northside Jazz Festival takes over West Broadway with free live music from 11 AM to 7 PM and Canterbury closes out the weekend with Unicorn and Llama Races.
